Our Business

After operating for 13 years as a franchise in Juneau, Richard decided it was time to become an independent operation to better serve the residents of Juneau and Southeast Alaska. Richard succeeded in incorporating Richard Earl EA, Inc. before he passed away, allowing Cecilia and Mae to carry on his business. We are honored to continue down the same path. We will provide the same integrity, honesty and knowledge Richard had everyone accustomed to. He made his way through the 2011 tax season before letting go and passing away on 4-28-2011. He will be remembered and missed for many years to come. In 2016 Cecilia left the state of Alaska and is greatly missed!

Who We Are

Richard Earl EA, Inc.,

Richard began preparing tax returns in 1985 and has owned 3 franchised tax offices over the years. Most recently, he owned a franchised tax office in Juneau, AK for 13 years. Richard became an Enrolled Agent in 2000 and was also named by the IRS as the Exemplary ERO for the state of Alaska that same year. He passed away in 2011.

Yunbi (Mae) Wu, EA

Mae became an Enrolled Agent in 2013 and has managed this firm since 2006. She assists clients with all tax issues, including payroll, bookkeeping setup, individual and business return preparation, and IRS issues resolutions.
